Honduras San Vicente | Medium-Dark Roast Washed Coffee
A rich, velvety cup built on resilience. Grown on the slopes of the breathtaking Santa Barbara Mountain—a protected national park and virgin forest reserve—this exceptional coffee is produced by a dedicated network of independent, multi-generational smallholders. After a devastating leaf rust outbreak in 2011, these resilient 3rd and 4th generation farmers completely revitalized their young farms with premium, rust-resistant varietals.
We bring these carefully harvested beans to a medium-dark roast profile to emphasize their natural sweetness. The deeper roast coaxes out a beautifully smooth, dominant chocolate body, while perfectly balancing and softening the vibrant mountain citrus acidity. Backed by a 25-year partnership with Exportadora San Vicente, this is a comforting, full-bodied brew that shines on its own or paired with cream.
