Rwanda Kahawatu | Light Roast Natural Single Origin
Vibrant, complex, and wildly sustainable. This single-origin Bourbon coffee is grown by smallholder farmers on tiny plots of 200 to 300 trees high in the fertile hills of Rwanda. Because this lot is naturally processed (sun-dried with the fruit intact) and brought to a meticulous light roast profile, it yields a remarkably sweet, juicy cup bursting with wild, playful flavor dynamics.
Every bag purchased fuels RWACOF’s forward-thinking Farmer Development Program. In partnership with the Kahawatu Foundation and the London School of Economics, this initiative supports farmers with agricultural loans, data-driven soil-acid management, and rootstock regeneration. Not only does this program heavily champion gender equality by helping women's cooperatives secure land, but it is also leading the charge in eco-innovation—utilizing solar-powered washing stations, monitoring deforestation via satellite imagery, and working aggressively to slash supply chain carbon emissions by $50\%$.
